8 months old today & remembering her brother's

Avery is 8 months old today!

She loves:
**to make funny faces
**blow raspberries
**cuddle (always has!)
**to be around people
**to go for a walk
**to be rocked to sleep (bad habit!)
**her baby food (took a while for her to like it without spitting it out)
**her taggie toys
**her exersaucer
**her Jumperoo
**to "talk"
**to scream
**be outside

She absolutely hates:
**to be put in her car seat, stroller or high chair
**to lay down and fall asleep on her own
**to play IN the pack n play
**to get her diaper changed (most of the time)
**to get dressed

She wears mostly 6-12 month (or just 9 month) clothes now. She can still fit into a few 6 month outfits.

She had her 6 month doctor appointment @ 7.5 months (Jan. 10th) because we were in Maryland from mid November until January 8th.

While we were in Maryland she got her first ear infection. Amoxicillin cleared it right up!

Her stats at her January 10th appointment were:
Height - 26 1/2 in.
Weight - 16lbs 4ozs

Here are some pictures from today:

Today is also the 2 year anniversary of the loss of Austin, Braylen, Cody & Dade.

We attempted to go to the cemetery to see them, but they were covered under a pile of dirt. I was NOT happy. There is a nice open area where there are no plots yet, right to the left of the boys. Why did the dirt have to be on top of them!?!? Especially on their birthday????

This is what we were faced with when we showed up...........

We will give the cemetery time to get them cleaned up. We will attempt to go see them again on Tuesday.
Happy Birthday in Heaven baby boys!!!! We love and miss you a lot!!!!

Since we couldn't see the boys, or give them their flowers, we went to visit Avery's Grandpa and put the boys flowers in his vase. He is buried right across the driveway from the boys. If you look at the picture below, you can see the pile of dirt where the boys are. (There are 2 piles next to each other. The one on the left and the lighter looking dirt, due to the sun, is where the boys are) The flowers at the bottom of the picture is where Grandpa is.

Here is Avery chilling out at her Grandpa's grave........
